Head of Cybersecurity (Technology)

About the Company:

Our client is the a Technology client that is expanding their presence in Singapore. As part of the company's expansion plan, they are looking to hire for a Cybersecurity Manager based in Singapore.

You will take charge of our enterprise-wide security strategy and operations. You’ll lead a capable team covering governance, risk & compliance (GRC), threat & vulnerability management, and security operations, working closely with infrastructure, engineering, and business stakeholders to drive cyber resilience.

You’ll be a key member of the technology leadership team, helping shape a secure and scalable environment that supports business growth.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Lead the Cybersecurity function, managing a team of Cybersecurity specialists
• Finetuning security devices and cybersecurity applications including incident response, firewall implementation and reviews
• Partner with infrastructure and cloud teams to embed security by design
• Oversee technology goveranace, audits, risk assessments, and drive remediation across the business
• Head SOC tenders and liaise with external cybersecurity vendors
• Work very closely with C-suite, mentor and mentor the Cybersecurity team while aligned with industry best practices

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor of Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent with at least 10 years of hands-on experience in Cybersecurity, with at least 3 years as a team lead
• Hands-on experience with hybrid environments (Cloud + On-prem)
• Strong grasp of GRC, Incident Response, Identity Access Management, Vulnerability Management and Firewalls
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Experience in Cybersecurity Originators, Network Infrastructure or Telecommunications industry will be preferred
