Vice President of Product Strategy

The VP will act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, overseeing strategic programs that deliver long-term impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute corporate and business unit strategy in alignment with organisational goals.
• Lead high-impact projects including market expansion, M&A, strategic partnerships, and portfolio optimisation.
• Provide market intelligence and competitor insights to guide senior decision-making.
• Partner with C-level executives and cross-functional teams to deliver strategic initiatives across R&D, commercial, and operations.
• Mentor and lead consulting teams, fostering a culture of high performance and innovation.
• Represent the organisation at industry forums, conferences, and external stakeholder meetings.

Personal Requirements

• 12+ years’ experience in strategy consulting (top-tier consultancy or life sciences specialist) and/or senior in-house corporate strategy within pharma, biotech, or medtech.
• Proven track record of delivering strategy, transformation, and growth programs in complex global settings.
• Deep knowledge of the life sciences industry, including regulatory dynamics, innovation trends, and competitive landscapes.
• Strong experience in M&A, business development, and portfolio strategy.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced degree (MBA, MSc, or PhD) in business, life sciences, or a related field.
• Fluency in English required; German is an advantage.
