Cyber Security Specialist

I am looking for "Lead Cyber Security Officer - (EL1 Level)" candidates for our Federal Government Client.

Contract Duration – 12 months +24 month

Work Location - Canberra (Hybrid)

Security Clearance - NV1

Technical skills:

• Any one or more of the following is highly desirable: CIA, CISA, ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor.
• Any one or more of the following is desirable: Tertiary degree in Information Systems, Cyber Security, Business, Accounting.

Essential Criteria:

• Demonstrated experience in auditing, governance, and/or risk management is it relates to the field of cyber security.
• Strong understanding of IIA Standards and audit methodologies.
• Proven ability to assess both technical and non-technical controls, including policy frameworks and governance structures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
• Familiarity with Australian Government frameworks such as ISM and PSPF.
