Role Overview
As our Frontend Engineer, you’ll be responsible for implementing modern, responsive, and scalable user interfaces in React. You’ll collaborate closely with our Web Designer (UI/UX) to translate Figma designs into high-quality, production-ready code. You’ll also work with backend engineers and product teams to ensure seamless integration and performance.
Responsibilities
- Build, optimize, and maintain responsive web interfaces using React (and supporting libraries/tools).
- Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, accessible, and performant code.
- Create reusable, modular UI components with scalability in mind.
- Implement state management, routing, and API integrations.
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend engineers to ship features quickly and efficiently.
- Ensure the application meets performance, accessibility, and security best practices.
- Contribute to and help maintain a frontend component library/design system.
- Stay current with modern frontend trends, frameworks, and tooling.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of professional experience as a Frontend Engineer or similar role.
- Strong expertise with React (Hooks, Context API, or state management libraries like Redux/Zustand).
- Proficiency in TypeScript and/or JavaScript.
- Experience with CSS frameworks (Tailwind, Styled Components, or similar).
- Familiarity with Next.js or similar React frameworks (bonus).
- Comfortable consuming and integrating with REST or GraphQL APIs.
- Strong understanding of web performance, accessibility, and responsive design.
- Experience with Git, code reviews, and collaborative workflows.
- Bonus: Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
