Your role

We are looking for an independent and high-caliber software engineer with 4+ years of full stack development experience to join our Engineering team based in Krakow, Poland. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop deep integrations and custom solutions that are integral to the success of our customers' loyalty programs, and to help define future product features. You will tackle challenging problems in concurrency, scalability, reliability, security, and cloud portability.

Responsibilities

  • Work on platform integrations (Shopify, SFCC, VTEX, NetSuite, POS systems, etc.), enabling seamless onboarding and loyalty program operations for clients.
  • Contribute to integration enhancements to reduce repetitive customization needs and improve scalability.
  • Get exposure to end-to-end ownership of client onboarding tech requirements, from scoping and design to delivery and handover.
  • Implement relevant functionalities using AWS Python, Celery, Docker, RabbitMQ, Redis, MongoDB, PostgreSQL.
  • Develop web applications using ReactJs, Javascript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Write clean, efficient and reliable code.
  • Write unit tests and automate execution of test cases to ensure that code quality meets a minimum set standard before it is handed to the QA team.
  • Debug issues reported from the field and develop solutions.

Requirements

  • A degree in Computer Science or related field from a reputed institution or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience as a software developer with fluency in Python and JavaScript. Fluency in Ruby is an asset.
  • Knowledge of software best practices such as clean coding techniques, unit testing, and continuous integration & development (CI/CD), and experience with source code version control tools.
  • Experience of working in an Agile development environment such as Extreme Programming, Scrum, or Kanban. Prior startup experience an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • A team player with a flair for working in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment.
