Software Engineer(A78553)

Job Description：

In your work as a senior software developer your key tasks are to design and implement native platform software for AOSP based infotainment solutions and develop Android applications and services for the next-generation automotive solutions.

1. you design and develop with a focus on clean, high-quality, maintainable code.

2. you collaborate closely with global cross-functional teams to define features,

3. you troubleshoot issues and optimize performance in your selected area

4. you contribute to the improvement of Android development processes, tooling, and architecture, participate in code reviews and promote best practices in Android development and in this utilize key Android components such as Activities, Services, Content Providers, Broadcast Receivers, and Intents to build robust solutions.

Competency：

1. M.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience in software development.

2. 5+ years of hands-on experience in Android development, ideally within the automotive or infotainment domain.

3. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

4. Proven expertise in Kotlin and Java with strong proficiency in Android Studio.

5. Deep experience with native AOSP development using the Soong/Make build system.

6. Solid understanding of the Android SDK and platform architecture.

7. Familiarity with Android runtime resource overlays (RRO), system-level permissions, and privileged apps is a plus.

8. Experience in C/C++ is a strong advantage in this role and knowledge in automotive communication protocols and/or QNX is a strong advantage.

9. Comfort working with AI tools to accelerate development and optimize code.

10. Corporate language is English and proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is highly desirable to facilitate collaboration with international teams.

11. A valid driver’s license is a plus for in-vehicle testing and validation tasks.
