Operations Internship - Cryptocurrency Brokerage

Over the course of three months at Caleb and Brown, you’ll develop a deep understanding of blockchain technology and its practical applications. This internship will challenge you to think on your feet, adapt to new challenges, and collaborate with a team of experts in a field that’s constantly evolving. You’ll build valuable skills in operational management, data analysis, and project execution, all of which are highly sought after in the fintech industry.

Settlement Management: Oversee and process unassigned fiat and cryptocurrency reconciliations, ensuring accurate matching and resolution of outstanding items

Data Security & Compliance: Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise personal diligence when handling sensitive financial and customer data to uphold security standards

Technical Support: Provide blockchain and internal system technical assistance to broker team members and customers, troubleshooting issues and answering technical queries

Settlement Monitoring: Review cryptocurrency settlement alerts, investigate discrepancies, and ensure clean reconciliation processes are maintained across all transactions

Process Documentation: Support the settlement team in maintaining accurate records and documentation of reconciliation activities and resolution outcomes

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills in written and verbal English.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Modest understanding of cryptocurrency markets and infrastructure is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to attend our new state of the art offices in Cremorne for a 12 week period.
