Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Infrastructure Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience with public cloud platforms, a strong background in networking, systems administration, automation, and a passion for building resilient cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on platforms such as VMware Cloud Director, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management using tools like Terraform.
  • Monitor cloud systems to ensure availability, performance, and security.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Development teams to support cloud-native applications and services.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC).
  • Ensure cloud environments adhere to company security policies and compliance standards (e.g., ISO, SOC2, HIPAA).
  • Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization.
  • Troubleshoot system and network issues across cloud and on-prem hybrid environments.
  • Document infrastructure designs, procedures, and policies.

Technical Skills

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with public cloud services (VMWare Cloud Director, AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong knowledge of networking, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Experience with IaC tools: Terraform.
  • Familiarity with container technologies: Openshift, Kubernetes, and orchestration platforms.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

Soft Skills

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Agile mindset and willingness to learn new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or a similar role.
  • Relevant cloud certifications
  • Experience with hybrid cloud or migration projects.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance (ISO 27001, etc.).
