SPX Flow Technology Assen BV develop and manufactures custom-made centrifugal pumps for applications in industry, oil & gas extraction, greenhouse horticulture and utility, among others. About 85 employees work in Assen, divided between production and office. This branch has been around for over 75 years.

Your position will support our employees in the Netherlands and Belgium with daily HR operations and tasks.

About The Role

As an HR Medewerker, you will support the day-to-day HR operations and contribute to a positive employee experience. Working closely with the HR Business Partner, you’ll assist in a variety of HR tasks including recruitment coordination, onboarding, HR systems, and employee support. About Your Responsibilities At SPX Flow

• Be the first point of contact for employees and managers on basic HR questions and policies.
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and system updates.
• Coordinate administrative changes related to employment and organizational updates.
• Assist with payroll and benefits coordination in collaboration with HR Shared Services and external providers (e.g., pension, insurance, ArboNed).
• Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems (e.g., SuccessFactors).
• Help coordinate recruitment activities such as scheduling interviews and posting job ads.
• Support absence management processes and liaise with occupational health providers.
• Assist in organizing training sessions and employee engagement initiatives.
• Participate in HR projects and process improvement activities as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Dutch labor laws and internal HR policies.
  
  

About You

PERSONAL SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Basic understanding of Dutch employment law or willingness to learn.
• Interest in HR systems (experience with SuccessFactors is a plus).
• Familiarity with payroll and benefits processes is helpful.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Proactive and eager to learn in a hands-on environment.
• Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  
  

Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in HR or administrative roles (internships count!).
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is a plus.
• HR certification is a bonus but not required.
