Position: NATO CIS Security Engineer

Location: Mons, BE

Start Date: 08 Sept 2025

Contract Length: Until December 31st 2025 option to extend further year.

Clearance Required: NATO Cosmic Top Secret

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled CIS Security Engineer to safeguard NATO’s critical information systems and networks. This role offers the chance to work on mission-critical operations, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and directly contribute to NATO’s cyber resilience.

Key Responsibilities

• Security Oversight: Ensure the protection of NATO-managed CIS and networks in full compliance with INFOSEC directives.
• Tools & Systems: Design, deploy, and manage Trellix ePO and related security tools (ENS, DLP, MAC, RSD, TIE, HX).
• Active Directory Security: Lead AD security operations, monitor vulnerabilities, and drive remediation.
• Advisory & Compliance: Provide expert guidance to NCSC, NATO Security Accreditation Board, and senior management.
• Enterprise Security: Support enterprise architecture, procurement, and accreditation activities.
• Training & Awareness: Promote cyber hygiene and deliver security awareness programs.
• Collaboration: Partner with NCI Agency service managers to ensure strong security posture and rapid issue resolution.

Qualifications & Expertise

• Deep expertise in Trellix ePO and its ecosystem.
• Strong knowledge of CIS security, networking, OS vulnerabilities, and Active Directory protection.
• Familiarity with Top 20 Critical Security Controls and cyber hygiene practices.
• Proven ability to analyze, innovate, and solve complex security challenges.
