Job Description: Data Analyst

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, interpreting, and analyzing large datasets to identify trends, provide actionable insights, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role requires strong technical expertise, critical thinking, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.

  • Conduct statistical analysis and interpret complex data sets to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities.

  • Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven recommendations.

  • Build and maintain databases, data systems, and documentation for efficient information retrieval.

  • Support data governance initiatives, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and deliver timely insights to support strategic projects and decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL for querying databases.

  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.

  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and programming languages such as Python or R.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data modeling).

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex data for diverse audiences.
