How You Make An Impact

  • You will work in the Marine Installation Engineering group as a Specialist Engineer and assigned to a multidiscipline project team as a Marine Engineering Lead or Engineering Manager focusing on Marine Installation activities.
  • Your team will consist of engineers within the disciplines Cable Installation, Survey and Protection.
  • You will be responsible for the deliverables from your team such as:
    • Procedures and Analysis
    • Specifications for equipment and services.
    • Planning and scheduling of marine operations
    • Internal and external packages.
  • You will interface regularly with client on technical matters.
  • You will also participate in developing and be responsible for technical solutions relevant in the department.
  • Our engineers normally follow their projects from start to finish, including doing the engineering work and following up the work offshore.
  • Lastly, you will make a solid impact by participating in Quality and HSE activities internally.

Your starting point when you join

  • Higher technical education from college or university (bachelor / master's degree) and / or other relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 10 years relevant experience from project driven business, experience from offshore installation or subsea operations is a plus.
  • Enjoy to lead and work in project teams but also independently.
  • Structured and accurate mindset.
  • Creative and has an analytical and solution-oriented approach to challenges.
  • Like to seek more knowledge within your own discipline area and other interface areas.
  • Experience with Installation analyses is a plus.
  • Excellent English language skills – Norwegian is a plus.

The Marine Installation Engineering group consists of almost 150 engineers working with marine operations. You will be part of the Cable Laying department, which enables the company in its ability to plan and execute marine installation activities worldwide. Getting a flying start

To succeed in our department, you have relevant experience within marine installation engineering, and some experience with a combined office, site, and offshore work environment. You also have worked in companies that are project driven, and have activities related to marine installation, preferably subsea cables and/or offshore wind, interconnectors or power from shore. At the same time being comfortable with ensuring quality and safety during the projects, ideally you are not afraid to take lead through your natural initiative and drive.
