Business Product Manager

We are a MAS licensed startup that has been in business for the past 5 years. We have recently been recognized as the PayTech of the Year at 2024 Asia FinTech Awards. With a profitable MVP, we are now focused on scaling our business model globally.

What you'll do

• Gather high-level requirements for new product related requests from business teams into a BRD to be approved by BCR committee for product design/development.
• Track status of key business requests/initiatives to provide visibility including timelines, BRD & PRD approval and key risks/issues.
• Work with the COO team to manage internal feedback & issues for (external) products to follow-up with respective product manager(s) to resolve.
• Working with the Academy team for training needs to coordinate with respective PM on product guides, training materials etc.
• Liaise with respective product manager(s) to perform BRT (Business Readiness Test) after the service goes live.
• Support Product Head on product strategy, roadmap planning, budgeting, process and partnership related work.
• Support country managers in GTM plan for new products and localisation needs as part of market expansion.

What are we looking for

• Min. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in product management, preferably payment related.
• Proven experience managing product lifecycles including ideation, roadmap planning, execution, and launch.
• Strong business acumen with ability to link product decisions to business goals and financial outcomes.
• Can-do attitude, willingness to learn and listen, ability to work independently, and strong drive to get things done.
• Excellent communication skills to manage internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to inspire and drive teams toward common goals.
• Proficient in both English and Mandarin as you will need to work closely with Chinese vendor.
• Knowledge of crypto or fintech industries with a passion for Web3, DeFi, and blockchain technology is a bonus.
