We are seeking for several data scientists (junior and mid-level) who will help us in discovering the information in vast amounts of data, and making smarter decisions in QNB R&D Center. Your focuses will be combining data-driven insights and business knowledge to create analytical solutions for business units and applying machine learning techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building high quality prediction systems integrated with current systems in R&D Center projects. The ideal candidate will be intricately involved in running analytical experiments in a methodical manner, and will regularly evaluate alternate models via theoretical approaches.

Job Description of Our Team:

In order to ensure that process is managed in an accurate and effective way;

• Designing, developing, and maintaining new and current Dashboards, data models and reports to support business performance evaluations
• Troubleshooting and adjusting existing data and automated reporting environments
• Using extensive SQL and code knowledge to derive insights from large datasets in order to solve real-life, fast-paced business problems.
• Visualizing data through visualization tools and compelling data and portfolio trends to management and business units.
• Analyzing and extracting data to uncover insights, trends, and opportunities that inform strategic decisions and perform analysis.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, particularly IT, to define and execute data analysis projects,
• Contributing to the development of data analytics strategies aligned with business objectives,
• Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing actionable recommendations based on your analyses,
• Developing predictive models using various machine learning techniques,
• Preparing smart variables by performing big data analysis, feature engineering,
• Keeping up-to-date with latest technology trends, and doing AI projects with Python/R,
• Establishing connection between the relevant units and with the consulting firms from which support is received in projects, when necessary,

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university (preferably in Mathematics, Engineering etc.),

· Interested in big data, analytics and machine learning subjects,

· Maximum 4 years of experience in related departments

· A methodological approach to data by presenting it clearly and effectively to support business decisions

· Ability to visualize data or use visualization tools,

· Good command of MS Office programs

· Good command of SQL for effective data manipulation and querying is a plus

· Using one of the following modeling programs effectively; SAS, Python, R or SPSS is a plus

· Fluency in English, both written and spoken

· Open-minded, strong analytical point of view and problem-solving skills,
