Job Title: Director of M&A Integration - Manufacturing

Our client is a leading international group within the industrial manufacturing sector with a strong growth trajectory. Following a significant cross-border acquisition, the company is embarking on a complex integration programme designed to unlock operational synergies, deliver cost reductions, and position the business for long-term success.

Who should apply?
Ideal candidates will have led post-merger integration programmes in complex, multi-site manufacturing environments. Strong commercial and operational acumen is essential, along with the ability to work at pace and manage diverse stakeholder groups. Key requirements include:
- Proven track record in leading large-scale post-merger integration projects within manufacturing
- 10+ years’ experience in senior transformation, programme management, or operational leadership roles
- Background in industrials strongly preferred (e.g. packaging, plastics, chemicals, building materials)
- Experience delivering headcount, procurement, raw material, and energy cost efficiencies
- Strong influencing and stakeholder engagement skills, including C-suite interaction
- Resilience, decisiveness, and the ability to thrive under pressure
Role and Reporting Lines
Reporting directly to the Group CFO, you will:
- Integration Leadership – Own the end-to-end integration programme, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timelines across manufacturing and operations
- Operational Synergies – Identify and deliver quick wins as well as longer-term savings in procurement, raw materials, headcount, and energy costs
- Programme Management – Develop and manage an integration roadmap, including Day 1, first 100 days, and long-term milestones
- Stakeholder Engagement – Partner with senior leaders across plants and functions to drive alignment and resolve issues
- Performance Monitoring – Establish KPIs to track progress and ensure delivery against synergy targets
- Change Management – Anticipate and manage the impact of integration on people, processes, systems, and site-level operations
- Governance & Reporting – Maintain clear, regular reporting to senior stakeholders on progress, risks, and mitigations
