Long-term daily rate contract (initial contract for 12-months) available for a Senior Golang Developer with a background in React, Go & AWS. Hybrid role where the successful candidate can be based in any major Australian city. Australian Citizenship is required for this role.
Our client is a leading insurance business looking for multiple Senior Golang Engineer roles (fullstack & back-end) to help design and deliver digital solutions that directly impact the lives of Australians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, building, and deploying scalable applications and APIs
- Developing across ReactJS (or equivalent) and Golang
- Building and integrating robust microservices
- Driving a DevOps-first culture with GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS
- Collaborating with agile, cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes that matter
About you:
- Solid experience in full stack engineering (Golang + modern frontend frameworks)
- Hands-on knowledge with SQL & NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress, Testify)
- Bonus points for exposure to Terraform or Infrastructure as Code
As a guide, daily rate is in the region of $900–$1100 incl. super (depending on experience)
