Senior Java Software Engineer

For one of our clients in the banking industry we are currently looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer

- Start date: September/October 2025

- Duration: 6 Months (possibilities for extension)

- Location: Zurich (partially WFH is possible)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Java, Spring, JPA/Hibernate, and Maven.
• Design and implement web services and APIs.
• Contribute to a microservices architecture, preferably with Spring Boot.
• Work with modern web technologies, such as Angular and web components.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Ansible, GitLab).
• Collaborate effectively within a team and communicate clearly with stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of hands-on Java development experience in the finance sector.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with Azure is a plus.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage.
