Based in Halle (Saale), Germany, Autonomy on Board GmbH is at the forefront of driving innovation in the automotive software industry. Join us as we redefine what’s possible on the road as Senior Mobile Developer (m/f/d).

Tasks

  • Feature Implementation: design, develop, and maintain complex features and functionalities in cross-platform applications using Kotlin (Multiplatform) or Swift
  • UI/UX Integration: translate design mockups and wireframes into high-quality, responsive user interfaces, ensuring consistency with Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and Google Play Store guidelines.
  • Code Optimization: write efficient, reusable, and scalable code, optimizing the app's performance, memory usage, and responsiveness.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: set up and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using tools like Github Actions to automate the build, testing, and deployment process.
  • Security Implementation: implement security best practices in the app, including secure data storage, encryption, and user authentication, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.


Requirements

Hard skills:

  • A minimum of 5 years professional experience in Android development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, successful Android applications.
  • Experience with Android libraries and frameworks: Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Multi-Platform
  • Experience with UI/UX Design principles and experience in implementing responsive and intuitive user interfaces.
  • Experience with setting up and maintaining continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using tools like Github Actions
  • Experience with the entire mobile development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing, deployment, and maintenance.


Soft skills:

  • Willingness to work in a startup environment, which often requires flexibility, a hands-on approach, and a proactive attitude.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex mobile applications.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (German very helpful but not required), both verbal and written, to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience working in agile or Scrum environments, with the ability to work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers.
