We’re looking for a Staff Software Engineer (iOS) to join our team and help shape the future of Capital One Travel. In this role, you’ll lead the development of innovative iOS features using SwiftUI and modern programming practices, driving high-impact mobile experiences that are seamless, simple, and powerful.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading the design and delivery of native iOS solutions aligned with best practices and design principles.
• Partnering with engineers, product owners, and designers to build customer-first mobile experiences.
• Playing an active role in agile ceremonies to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.
• Mentoring and guiding junior and mid-level engineers while collaborating across mobile, web, and backend teams.
• Owning critical components and platform initiatives in partnership with senior engineers and architects.
• Staying ahead of industry trends and championing mobile innovation both internally and externally.
• Driving code reviews, sharing best practices, and helping improve processes across teams.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years building native iOS apps with Swift and SwiftUI.
• Strong background in application architecture and design.
• Experience mentoring developers and influencing stakeholders.

Preferred:

• 8+ years leading projects through the full software lifecycle.
• Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Experience in agile environments and open-source frameworks.
