Senior Full Stack PHP Developer @MMCTech [hybrid] Cluj Napoca

We are seeking 2 talented individuals to join our Technology team at Marsh McLennan.

This role will be based in Cluj-Napoca. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Join us in developing the Marsh Global Connect application, a vital tool that supports our multinational clients.

As a Full Stack PHP Developer with basic experience in Angular, you will play a key role in enhancing our digital solutions and driving innovation

We will count on you to:

• Develop and maintain robust PHP applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness;
• Design and implement front-end components using HTML5, CSS, and Angular 10+;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features;
• Optimize database queries and ensure data integrity using MySQL 8.0+;
• Utilize Agile methodologies to manage project tasks and deliverables effectively;
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to enhance functionality and user experience;
  
  

What you need to have:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a PHP developer, with a strong understanding of PHP 7.0+ and jQuery (v3.0 & above) & JavaScript;
• Familiarity with Zend/Laravel & PHPUnit frameworks, or experience with any other PHP framework;
• Hands-on experience in designing front-end components using HTML5, CSS –LESS/SASS, and Bootstrap
• Good understanding of MySQL 8, and good knowledge of query optimizations;
• At least 1 year of experience working with Agile methodologies;
• Experience working with Git/GitHub and ADO or Jira;
• Strong grasp of OOP concepts and ability to follow best practices;
• A degree in BE/BTECH/MCA/M TECH or a related field.
