Java Software Engineer (Interim)
For an international client, I am looking for a highly experienced Java Software Engineer with in-depth knowledge of microservices architecture and large-scale environments. You will contribute to the development and optimisation of high-quality, cloud-native solutions using the latest technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable microservices in a complex enterprise environment.

• Build robust and efficient solutions using Java and Spring Boot.

• Implement event-driven architecture with technologies such as Kafka.

• Integrate and optimise search and data storage technologies such as Elasticsearch and Cassandra.

• Work within Kubernetes and apply cloud-native patterns to ensure scalability and reliability.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to continuously improve software quality and performance.

Profile

• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Java Software Engineer.

• Extensive experience with microservices architecture and large-scale systems.

• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Elasticsearch and Cassandra.

• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native patterns is required.

• Experience in the financial sector is considered a Pre

• Experience as a Solution Architect is an advantage.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills and experience working in an agile environment.

• Start date: As soon as possible
• Contract duration: 12 months+, with extension option
• Hours per week: 40
• Rate: €70-€80 (payroll construction, excl. VAT)
