Senior Java Developer / Application Support Engineer

Department: 507 Product and Technology Production Support

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania

Compensation: €4,500 - €5,500 / month

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our Customer Production Support team. You will be responsible for providing application support and back-end development services to ensure that our systems are running smoothly, optimized, and meet customer requirements.

This is a full-time position dedicated to one customer. You will be a part of a team that is committed to delivering high-quality services and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

Provide efficient application support and back-end development services to ensure smooth operations and optimization of our systems
Monitor and analyze logs to detect and resolve issues proactively
Work closely with the development team to resolve defects, customer enhancements, and updates to meet customer requirements
Respond to submitted customer tickets and provide timely and effective solutions
Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient delivery of tasks
Create and maintain technical documentation related to the systems supported
Actively participate during Scrum ceremonies: planning, backlog refinement, daily calls, and retrospective meetings
Contribute to the overall team success during all phases of the software development life cycle

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

2+ years of experience in application support, back-end development, or related fields
Knowledge of Java Core, Spring Core, Spring Boot, Unit testing, JSF, Spring Webflow, Liquibase, Git or Mercurial, and Maven
Experience working with REST API and knowledge of HTTP protocol
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Ability to work across multiple time zones, incl. USA
Understanding of Jenkins

The following skills would be a plus:

Familiarity with monitoring and log analysis tools (e.g. Nagios, Splunk, ELK Stack, etc.)

Experience

Intermediate English level
Experience with Scrum and Agile
