About The Role
A newly created opportunity has opened up to shape how we connect and retain our passionate member base. We’re looking for a Membership Retention Coordinator to play a key role in helping us achieve our goal of 100,000+ members. Your focus will be on keeping our members engaged, connected, and renewing year after year.
You’ll design and deliver retention strategies, lead outbound campaigns, and provide personalised support, especially to first- and second-year members, ensuring they feel valued and part of the Bombers family from day one.This role is essential to strengthening member loyalty and ensuring every interaction adds value to their journey with the club.
About You
You’re passionate about building lasting relationships and know how to spot a member at risk of dropping off before they do. With a solid background in outbound sales or membership services, you’re comfortable on the phone, can coach others, and love finding creative ways to keep people engaged.

You’ll Bring
- Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills
- Proven experience managing retention and renewals
- A strategic mindset with the ability to analyse behaviour and trends
- A warm, member-first approach to service
- Confidence using CRMs and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in a sporting or member-based organisation is an advantage, with a tertiary qualification in Sport, Business or Marketing desirable.
