The impact of the role:

The GO Software Engineer will be a critical team member of the Backend Chapter responsible for delivering innovative solutions within the smart mobility and energy management ecosystem.

Together with your peers you will be defining the future connected services for one of the largest OEMs in the world, being able to see the result of your work driving down the road! Being close to cutting-edge technologies will allow you to further enhance your skills & thrive within an innovative and people-oriented environment.

On a given day a Go Software Engineer will:

• Design and develop cloud-native microservices in Go language
• Develop and integrate services that will feed mobile applications, vehicles and energy management systems
• Write well-tested, efficient code using Go best practices
• Participate in code reviews and maintain documentation
• Collaborate in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams
  
  

Requirements

In order to be successful in this role you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Go development
• Strong understanding of concurrent programming using goroutines and channels
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and microservices architecture
• Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs and working with various databases
• Knowledge of version control systems and experience CI/CD pipelines
• Fluency in English is a must, as we are a multinational company
• Active contribution as a team player to collaborative efforts
• Curiosity and a willingness to learn new technologies, embracing an out of the box thinking approach
