Mid Level Machine Learning position

Required experience: ML, Predictive modelling, Kubeflow, Python

Hybrid - 3 days in Sydney CBD office

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand modelling concepts and be able to translate them into actual code.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to translate prototypes and research models into production-ready systems.
• Maintain and improve data pipelines, modelling and reporting systems to support ongoing analytics and machine learning initiatives.
• Continuously stay updated with the latest data science technologies, tools and industry trends to improve the modelling infrastructure and implement best practices.
• Guide and support the data scientists in writing production ready code.
• Conduct appropriate testing, meet code quality standards, and adhere to coding style guidelines.
• Keep the architectural and technical documentation up to date.
• Follow the company development processes and standards.
• Work within an Agile environment with regular reports on progress, and honest realistic feedback on estimates and blockers.
• Adhere to the very strictest standards for IP protection and security.

Qualifications:

• Postgraduate degree or equivalent professional experience in Computer Science (ML/AI), Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent fields.
• Proven experience in production implementations of predictive modelling systems.
• Experience in designing and building Kubeflow pipelines or equivalent applications.
• Experience with the optimisation of machine learning frameworks and libraries.
• Knowledge of machine learning or statistical learning techniques.
• Proficient in Python, SQL, bash among other scripting and programming languages.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Hands-on experience with data visualisation tools such as Looker Studio or Tableau
