About The Role

This strategic leadership role is responsible for shaping and executing the development agenda for Leaders within the Tied Distribution (TD) sales force. The incumbent will drive impactful learning initiatives that enhance leadership capabilities, align with business imperatives, and foster a high-performance culture across the distribution network.

Roles And Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Team Management


  • Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing team of training professionals to deliver best-in-class leadership development programmes.
  • Establish clear performance standards and ensure alignment with organizational goals and sales force development priorities.

Leadership Capability Development


  • Identify current and emerging leadership competency gaps across the organization
  • Design, implement and continuously evolve best-in-class leadership development programs that address both immediate needs and future capability requirements.

Innovative Learning Solutions


  • Spearhead the development and deployment of scalable e-learning modules and blended learning experiences tailored for leadership development.
  • Leverage digital platforms to enhance accessibility, engagement, and learning effectiveness.

Programme Evaluation & Continuous Improvement


  • Establish robust evaluation frameworks to assess training impact and effectiveness.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to refine learning strategies and ensure continuous improvement.

Industry Benchmarking & Best Practices


  • Stay abreast of emerging trends in leadership development, adult learning, and sales force enablement.
  • Integrate global best practices into programme design and delivery.

Leadership Engagement & Stakeholder Management


  • Build strong relationships with TD Leaders to understand their development needs and aspirations.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, communicating the organization’s leadership standards and expectations.

Event Facilitation & Capability Building


  • Lead and facilitate strategic activity management events and leadership forums to drive engagement and capability uplift.
  • Champion initiatives that promote a culture of continuous learning and development.

Cross-functional Collaboration & Vendor Management


  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to co-create and deliver impactful leadership development experiences.
  • Ensure quality assurance and alignment with organizational values and standards.

Minimum Job Requirements

The successful candidate will bring a strategic mindset and deep expertise in leadership development within the insurance distribution space.

Key Attributes Include


  • Minimum 5 years’ experience leading training teams, with a strong track record of delivering impactful learning outcomes.
  • In-depth understanding of the insurance distribution landscape, particularly tied agency models.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence collaboratively in a performance-driven environment.
  • Certified in training delivery, with proficiency in both in-person and virtual facilitation.
  • Well-networked and market-aware, maintaining active connections with external providers and staying current with industry trends.
  • Analytical and proactive, able to independently translate insights into data-driven, actionable recommendations.
