Job Responsibilities

The Junior AI Engineer at Co-Ex-Tec is responsible for assisting in the development, training, and deployment of AI models aimed at optimizing manufacturing processes. This role involves working closely with data scientists to preprocess and analyze large datasets, ensuring data quality and integrity for AI model training and validation. The Junior AI Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AI Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, and Data Scientists, to understand project requirements and deliver effective AI solutions. Additionally, this role includes integrating AI solutions into the production environment, monitoring their performance, and participating in testing and validation to ensure project goals are met

• AI Model Development: Assist in developing, training, and deploying AI models to optimize manufacturing processes.
  
  

Participate in the design and implementation of machine learning algorithms and solutions.

• Data Analysis & Preprocessing: Work with data scientists to preprocess and analyze large datasets from various sources.
  
  

Ensure data quality and integrity for training and validating AI models.

• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AI Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, and Data Scientists, to understand project requirements and deliver solutions.
  
  

Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and execution.

• Implementation & Testing: Help integrate AI solutions into the production environment and monitor their performance.
  
  

Assist in testing and validating AI models to ensure they meet project goals and objectives.

• Learning & Development: Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies.
  
  

Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills.

Education & Professional Experience

• Bachelor’s or Masters degree in in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science or related field.
• Education and Experience in Industry 4.0 Technologies with Artificial Intelligence.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and the use of technology to optimize operations
• Develop and manage APIs and databases (SQL/NoSQL) for app–AI model integration.
• Proficient with Python, SQL, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Pandas and OpenCV
• MLOps, CI/CD for AI Pipelines, PyQt, Tkinter, Git
• Computer Vision (Object Detection, Segmentation, Image Processing), Predictive Analytics, NLP
• Machine Learning & Deep Learning Model Development
• Strong English communications both verbal and written
