We at Coforge are seeking a highly skilled Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices, and Spring Batch. The ideal candidate will have experience building robust backend systems and integrating with DevOps pipelines. Exposure to the Banking and Financial Services (BFS) domain is a plus.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
  • Implement and manage batch processing using Spring Batch.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration with frontend and third-party systems.
  • Collaborate with architects, frontend developers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Optimize application performance and scalability.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for clean, maintainable code.
  • Integrate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.


Required Skills:

  • Strong programming skills in Java 8+.
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Cloud.
  • Experience with Microservices architecture and REST API development.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Version control using Git and GitHub.


Good to Have:

  • Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of BFS (Banking and Financial Services) domain.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.
