DevOps Engineer (Contract) Hybrid working in Malaga

YanTech Associates have partnered with a leading technical consultancy in Spain who are looking to hire a Contract DevOps Engineer (minimum of 12 months with a likely extension).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with development and data engineering teams
  • Take the lead in automating and optimizing operations and workflow
  • Assess and integrate tools and technologies to strengthen system infrastructure and processes
  • Champion system improvements, particularly in container orchestration
  • Document processes, systems, and best practices to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing


Requirements

  • 3+ years of DevOps experience
  • Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Version control and repository scaffolding tools (Git, Maven Archetype, Yeoman, Custom solutions)
  • Branching strategies (GitFlow, Trunk-Based Development)
  • Continuous integration tools (GitHub Actions)
  • Scripting languages (Ansible, Python, Helm)
  • Container image builders (Docker, Podman, Buildah)
  • Container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift)
  • Programming languages (JavaScript, Python, Shell scripting)
  • Monitoring tools (Beats, Prometheus, Grafana/Kibana, Dynatrace)
