We are seeking a skilled and motivated structural/hydrodynamic analysis engineer to join our Concrete Solutions - Offshore Wind team.

Concrete Solutions is an execution-oriented department with deep EPCI competence, focused on delivering high-quality marine concrete substructures for offshore wind, nearshore facilities, and aquaculture. From early conceptual design through detailed engineering and construction, the team integrates constructability methods and product ownership to ensure efficient, scalable, and locally adapted solutions. With a strong track record in international contracting and partnerships, Concrete Solutions leverages cross-functional resources and civil construction capabilities to differentiate itself in competitive markets.

By participating in Aker Solutions’ FEED (Front End Engineering Design) and detailed engineering projects, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of how Aker Solutions executes large-scale projects.

What will you be doing?

• Conduct structural response analyses of bottom-fixed and/or floating structures
• Calculate hydrodynamic loads on bottom-fixed and/or floating structures
• Conduct Global performance analysis of bottom-fixed and/or floating structures including Integrated Load Analysis (waves and wind)
• Work with others to continuously improve study methodologies, technical frameworks, and best practices to enhance project efficiency and innovation for the above mentioned topics
  
  

We Think You Should Have

• 2+ years of experience within offshore wind or oil & gas industries
• Experience in structural response analyses of bottom-fixed and/or floating structures
• Experience in calculating hydrodynamic loads on bottom-fixed structures and/or floating structures
• Experience in global performance analysis of bottom-fixed and/or floating structures including Integrated Load Analysis (waves and wind)
• Experience with systems like Orcaflex, Bladed or similar tools, Abaqus, Seam software system etc
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong ability to work effectively in teams
