Job Summary

As the Country Manager for Argentina, you will be responsible for establishing and scaling RedotPay’s operations in the region. Your expertise in licensing & compliance, brand building, payment channel development, and market expansion will be critical to our success. You will lead local partnerships, regulatory engagements, and business growth strategies while ensuring full compliance with Argentine financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Licensing & Compliance

• Lead the process of obtaining necessary financial, payment, and crypto-related licenses in Argentina.
• Ensure full compliance with Central Bank of Argentina (BCRA), UIF, and other regulatory bodies.
• Develop and implement AML/CFT, KYC, and data protection policies in line with local laws.
• Manage relationships with regulators, legal advisors, and compliance consultants.

2. Brand Building & Market Entry

• Develop and execute a localized go-to-market strategy to establish RedotPay as a trusted brand.
• Lead PR, marketing, and partnership initiatives to enhance brand visibility.
• Represent RedotPay at industry events, government forums, and fintech associations.

3. Payment Channel & Business Development

• Build and manage relationships with banks, PSPs, fintechs, and crypto exchanges to expand payment rails.
• Negotiate partnerships with merchants, remittance providers, and wallet operators.
• Drive adoption of RedotPay’s solutions among businesses and consumers.

4. Revenue Growth & Operations

• Develop and execute a scalable growth strategy to increase market share.
• Monitor local trends in digital payments, crypto, and fintech to identify opportunities.
• Oversee P&L, budgeting, and financial performance for the Argentine market.

Qualifications & Experience

• 8+ years in fintech, payments, banking, or crypto, with at least 3 years in a leadership role in Argentina.
• Proven track record in licensing (BCRA, PSP, VASP) and financial compliance in Argentina.
• Strong network with banks, regulators, and fintech partners in the region.
• Experience in market entry, business development, and payment ecosystem growth.
• Deep understanding of local payment methods (Mercado Pago, Ualá, etc.), crypto regulations, and fintech trends.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
