Avanciers is hiring Java Backend Developer at Toronto, ON for one of our Fortune 500 clients. This is a Contract Role with the client. Benefits will be covered by the Client.


Title: Java Backend Developer (Spark)

Location: Toronto, ON

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Experience in Java 8, Microservices, Spring Boot
  • Excellent Knowledge on Apache Spark;
  • Thorough understanding Spark framework, Performance Tuning etc.
  • Excellent Knowledge and hands-on experience in Apache Spark, Apache SQL, Spark ecosystem tools and libraries.
  • Hands-on Linux scripting experience
  • Mandatory for anyone to have good knowledge of any of the CSPs like Azure, AWS or GCP; Certifications on Azure will be additional Plus
