Chief Information Technology Officer

The Chief Information Technology Officer (CITO) provides strategic leadership and operational oversight of EMARAT’s IT function, ensuring that technology initiatives, infrastructure, and services effectively support the company’s strategic priorities and business objectives. The role drives the formulation and execution of IT strategies, optimizes budgets, and ensures robust cybersecurity, data governance, and disaster recovery measures. The CITO oversees the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of IT services, infrastructure, and enterprise systems—leveraging emerging technologies, automation, and digital solutions to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. Acting as a key advisor to senior leadership, the CITO fosters innovation, builds strategic vendor partnerships, and ensures IT alignment with evolving business needs. The role also emphasizes talent development, Emiratization, and embedding best-practice frameworks to position EMARAT at the forefront of technological advancement in the oil and gas sector.
