Information Technology Security Engineer

We detect and track trains in real-time and know exactly what is happening along the rail. For this, we use state-of-the-art technology and unique solutions for the global railway industry. Are you ready to shape the future with us?

Your main roles and responsibilities:

• Supporting the improvement of IT security, risk assessment and implementation of protective measures
• Participation in vulnerability analyses, penetration tests and monitoring security incidents
• Collaboration on the ISMS according to standards such as ISO 27001 as well as security documentation and reporting
• Implementation of security training and awareness measures
• Selection, introduction and support of security solutions (e.g. SIEM, firewalls, endpoint protection)
• Analysis, handling and defense against cyber attacks as part of incident response
• Planning and implementing security projects and working closely with specialist departments and external partners

You are just right for this role if:

• you have training in IT and experience in IT security.
• you have a good technical understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, operating systems and ideally also cloud environments
• you are interested in IT security standards (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST or BSI) 
• you think analytically, work in a structured manner and can communicate your ideas clearly 
• you enjoy working in a team, take responsibility and are willing to learn new things
• you have experience in topics such as authorization management, security tools, penetration tests or data protection
• you are confident in reading and writing code - for example in Python, Go, Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript or Java
• you are curious about new technologies and are particularly interested in current developments in the field of artificial intelligence
