HR Generalist – Senior (Contract)
Location: Toronto – Onsite 4 days/week
Duration: 6 months (Strong possibility of extension)
Schedule: 7.5 hours/day, Monday–Friday
Team: Technology Human Resources – supporting cloud transformation initiatives
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior HR Generalist to support the end-to-end development and delivery of people-related initiatives tied to a major Cloud Acceleration Program (CAP). This position partners closely with Technology HR, Global Learning, and program leaders to design and implement talent and learning strategies that enable technology transformation.
The ideal candidate is a strategic HR professional with strong project management skills, exceptional stakeholder management abilities, and a proven track record of delivering impactful learning and talent programs in a complex corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Director, HR Initiatives to develop and execute Cloud Talent & Learning strategies
- Represent HR in discussions with business leaders and program stakeholders
- Provide strategic insights, program design feedback, and execution recommendations
- Oversee the implementation of learning programs in collaboration with HR and Learning COEs
- Manage program delivery, reporting, and KPI tracking (monthly and quarterly)
- Analyze HR data to identify trends, recommend strategies, and measure program effectiveness
- Champion learning initiatives and ensure programs are scalable, efficient, and effective
- Build and maintain relationships with external vendors to enhance program solutions
- Advocate for a customer-focused, inclusive, and high-performance work environment
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5–8 years developing and executing talent and learning strategies in a large corporate environment
- 5–8 years of project management experience delivering HR initiatives and programs
- Strong experience using HR data and success metrics, including dashboards and advanced Excel
- 5+ years as an HRBP or HR consultant
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Degree, certificate, or designation in adult learning
- CHRP designation
- Experience supporting cloud platforms or technology transformation initiatives

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working with leaders up to VP level
- Strategic influencing and negotiation abilities
- Problem-solving and conflict management skills
