Data Scientist

Open to Australian Citizens located in NSW, VIC & Canberra. Long-term engagement with initial 12-month contract & large project pipeline.

We’re currently recruiting multiple mid-Senior Data Scientist roles for a leading health organisation. These positions will sit within a newly-created and fast-growing Data Science Centre of Excellence with a key focus on Ethical AI. This team will be well-funded as they look to advance their analytics capability.

About the role

• The technical focus of this position will be on NLP projects leveraging LLMs
• Work closely with Lead Data Scientists in scoping out projects based on internal and external stakeholder requirements
• Hands-on involvement in advanced model development and deployment with Machine Learning Engineers

About you

• Must be an Australian citizen
• 3-8+ years of experience as a Data Scientist
• Project experience across NLP, LLMs, Gen AI, with experience developing and deploying advanced statistical models
• Large focus on Responsible/Ethical AI

Guide on daily rate: $700 - $750/day incl super ($161k - $172.5k p.a., potential flexibility depending on experience)
