About the Role


Candidate will be a Software Engineer with Microsoft .Net programming skill involve in system enhancement and maintenance support. He/She will liaise with business analyst, business user and fellow engineers from integration systems for providing the appropriate support to the systems related to Finance or Insurance processing. Candidate must be able to communicate well with both internal and external partners. Candidate is responsible for overall development of solution using .NET framework. Candidate is a software engineer with experience in programming client and server software, stored procedures, databases, standard software development life cycle which include testing and deployment of program at various stages.



Responsibilities



  • Effectively turn requirements of enhancements, projects into developmental activities.
  • Design, develop, test and implement programs and components in web-based applications, stored procedures.
  • Involve in design, coding, testing, and maintenance production systems.
  • Performance tuning SQL's, application programs and instances.


Qualifications



  • Diploma or Degree holder in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Information Technology or Information Systems or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of application development experience (must have experience in .Net framework 4.5/4.8, JavaScript, SQL (stored procedure) - full stack developer).


Required Skills



  • Proficient in handling business and system requirements and turn into computation logic.
  • Able to perform analysis, troubleshooting and understand system design and solution.
  • Good understanding of software development life cycle.
  • Post-production support experiences.
  • Experience in Finance or Insurance systems.
  • Experience in developing batch scripts (Windows / Solaris OS platforms).
  • Experience in incident/bug reporting and tracking system like Remedy, Jira, etc.
  • Experience in other technical skills like Java, Python, Micro service, Cloud is an added advantage.
  • Able to converse in simple Mandarin is an advantage.
  • With minimum 5 years of experience in health insurance domain.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data migration project.



COMPUTER PROFICIENCY



  • .NET platform/framework.
  • HTML, CSS.
  • RDBMS like MS SQL, MYSQL.
  • Web application design/pattern like MVC, Single page application.
  • SQL, Stored Procedures.
  • Web Services like RESTful APIs, JSON, SOAP, XML.
