What does a successful UX Designer do at Fiserv?

You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to turn complex workflows into elegant, easy-to-use designs across our customer portals, merchant onboarding, and payment flows. Hands-on, experienced UX Designer who’s passionate about designing seamless experiences that solve real user problems.


Work Type: Fixed Term Employment(12 Months)

Job Location: Melbourne/Brisbane


What You Will Do:

  • Lead end-to-end UX design process — from discovery and wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes
  • Translate complex business requirements into thoughtful and scalable user journeys
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and interpret feedback to guide design decisions
  • Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to ensure design intent is carried through to build
  • Own the design system and help build consistent UI patterns across web and mobile
  • Create artefacts like user flows, journey maps, and interaction models to communicate ideas clearly
  • Champion a design thinking approach and user-first mindset across the company


What You Will Need To Have:

  • 5+ years of UX/UI experience, ideally in fintech, SaaS, or product-led businesses
  • Strong portfolio showcasing user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final designs
  • Proficiency in Figma (or equivalent), usability tools, and modern design systems
  • Ability to balance user needs with business goals in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills — able to confidently present ideas to cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and responsive design best practices
  • Experience working in Agile teams and/or fintech environments
