Your new role

You'll be a key player in maintaining and supporting the infrastructure that powers satellite ground stations. You'll manage daily operational tasks, coordinate with vendors, and ensure the readiness and reliability of network and power systems across global sites.

• Triage and manage daily ticket queues, focusing on postmortem analysis and root cause investigations.
  
• Liaise with ISPs and fibre vendors to track outages and circuit issues.
  
• Review, test, and update runbooks and troubleshoot documentation.
  
• Validate infrastructure readiness at new satellite ground station locations.
  
• Manage access requests for contractors and field teams.
  
• Maintain and update scheduled maintenance calendars to prevent service disruptions.
  
• Create comprehensive site access packets for vendors, compiling data from various internal sources.
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong understanding of network and power infrastructure operations.
  
• Experience working with ISPs, fibre vendors, and WAN technologies (e.g., DWDM, wavelength circuits).
  
• Ability to manage ticketing systems and perform root cause analysis.
  
• Familiarity with runbook creation and revision processes.
  
• Excellent organisational skills for coordinating maintenance schedules and access documentation.
  
• Strong communication skills for vendor and internal team collaboration.
