Software Engineer Senior Backend (Blockchain, Node, Azure, Nest)

We’re looking for a hands-on Senior Backend Software Engineer to join a fast-growing tech company operating at the intersection of AI, decentralized storage, and secure data management. The role is a full-time, fully remote position.

Main Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js (NestJS).
• Participate in the delivery of product features, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and system integration.
• identify and resolve backend bugs, refactors legacy code, and contribute to long-term platform improvements.
• Write clean, tested, and well-documented code aligned with system architecture and best practices.
• Support backend data flows including database queries, file uploads, IPFS integrations, and secure data processing.
• Contribute to the design of APIs, validation logic, and authentication flows.
• Collaborate with QA to support bug triaging and sprint readiness.

Execution & Collaboration Areas

• Feature Delivery: Contribute to sprint stories tied to core product services.
• Platform Support: Help maintain system uptime and performance, implementing fixes and improvements as needed.
• Web3 Integrations: Exposure to Ethereum, smart contracts, and other EVM-based technologies.
• Technical Collaboration: Work closely with tech leads to align with architectural goals, resolve blockers, and clarify implementation details.

Technical Skills & Experience

• Fluent English communication (spoken and written) for daily collaboration.
• Degree in Computer Science or relevant profesional experience.
• Experience working in distributed teams and Agile environments.
• Familiarity with AI development tools such as ChatGPT and GitHub Copilot
• Strong knowledge of OOP, SOLID Principles, and coding best practices
• Understanding of the EVM blockchain ecosystem

Minimum Requirements

• 3+ years of experience developing backend web applications
• At least the last 3 years of hands-on experience with:
• Node.Js, Typescript, NestJS,
• MongoDB,
• Terraform/OpenTofu,
• Azure Cloud Provider,
• Web 3.0 projects and Solidity.
