About The Role

We are seeking a technically capable and detail-oriented Data & Product Analyst to support data reconciliation, automation, reporting infrastructure, and tooling across financial systems. This role bridges finance and engineering, ensuring data accuracy, process efficiency, and timely delivery of operational insights. The position is work-from-office and based in our Mumbai location.

Key Responsibilities

🔁 Data Reconciliation & Validation

• Reconcile transactional and financial data from various payment gateways, lending platforms, and financial APIs.
• Investigate and resolve mismatches in invoices, failed transactions, and data inconsistencies in internal systems.
• Perform periodic checks and validations on financial data (monthly/quarterly).
  
  

📊 Reporting & Metrics

• Maintain and update operational dashboards and static reports using Metabase and internal tools.
• Prepare recurring metrics reports to support business and finance teams.
• Manage and monitor scheduled report generation for various internal functions.
  
  

⚙️ Scripting & Automation

• Develop and maintain scripts for data automation (e.g., cost analysis, log processing, file handling).
• Automate fetching and processing of reports/files from cloud storage systems.
• Optimize recurring processes through scripting and lightweight data pipelines.
  
  

🧰 Tech Operations Support

• Support deployment readiness and collaborate with DevOps on releases as needed.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding for access to internal technical tools.
• Perform basic database operations, including running queries, validating data, and troubleshooting data mismatches.
  
  

Must-Have

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
• Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages.
• Hands-on experience with BI/reporting tools such as Metabase or Excel.
• Experience reconciling financial or transactional data from APIs or files.
• Solid understanding of data workflows related to payments, lending, and invoicing systems.
  
  

Nice-to-Have

• Exposure to cloud storage systems (e.g., Azure Blob, AWS S3).
• Experience with log monitoring or analysis (e.g., Elastic Stack).
• Familiarity with DevOps processes or CI/CD tools.
• Awareness of data accuracy, governance, and internal controls.
