Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or similar role
- Proficiency with GitLab, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Sonarqube and Nexus
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (on-prem) and container orchestration using Helm
- Strong knowledge of Nginx, HAProxy, and CDN/Caching solutions
- Expertise in monitoring/logging tools such as ELK, Prometheus/Grafana, and Graylog
- Experience with Kafka, Redis
- Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgresSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra and Oracle
- Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash
- Experience working with Java and Spring Boot-based applications
- Advanced Linux system administration and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency with Ansible for automation and configuration management
- Intermediate knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, Load Balancing, Firewalls, VPNs, Routing)
- Familiarity with frontend technologies (JavaScript, React, HTML/CSS) is a plus
- Experience with Go (Golang) is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Implement, maintain, and improve Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environments
- Design and build automated tasks for managing deployment environments
- Manage and optimize containerized applications
- Develop and maintain infrastructure automation
- Design and implement scalable, robust, and secure deployment processes for both cloud and on-premise environments
- Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring system reliability and collaborating with developers to resolve issues efficiently
- Ensure the performance, security, and responsiveness of environments, proactively identifying areas for improvement
- Improve system performance by introducing new tools, best practices, and automation solutions
- Optimize network performance and security configurations, working with DNS, TCP/IP, Load Balancing, Firewalls, VPNs, and Routing
- Ensure high availability and performance of infrastructure
- Monitor system health and performance
- Work with relational and non-relational databases
- Maintain and optimize servers for event-driven architecture
- Work closely with development teams to enhance DevOps culture and best practices
