API Developer

We are seeking a skilled API Developer with at least 2 years of experience designing and building APIs using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Express.js. This position requires strong integration debugging capabilities and a high level of English (minimum B2) to collaborate effectively across international teams. The ideal candidate thrives in agile environments and writes clean, scalable code.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, well-documented RESTful APIs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues with strong debugging practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in agile ceremonies and planning.
• Write and maintain technical documentation in English.
• Conduct unit and integration testing using modern frameworks.
• Participate in the architectural design and evolution of backend services.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as an API Developer.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Solid hands-on experience with Express.js and REST API design.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience in cloud environments, especially AWS.
• Strong debugging and integration troubleshooting experience.
• Advanced English (minimum B2) – written and spoken.

Desirable Requirements:

• Familiarity with Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Testing experience using Jest, Mocha, or similar tools.
• Understanding of SOLID principles and clean architecture.
• Experience in cloud-based deployments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Previous collaboration in international and distributed development teams.
