Job Description

Docupace is seeking a Full Stack Developer for a 100% remote role. ALL interested candidates MUST currently reside in Warsaw, Poland, and be willing to attend meetings and training sessions at the office as requested.

Summary Of Position

The Full Stack Software Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering full-stack features that drive meaningful improvements to our product and user experience using tools like Java, Python, React, Django, AWS (Lambda, Step Functions, CDK), PostgreSQL, GraphQL, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), Docker. This role plays a key part in building scalable, maintainable software solutions and contributes to all stages of the product lifecycle, from concept to release. The ideal candidate is hands-on with both frontend and backend development, comfortable with fast iteration, and proactive in gathering feedback to inform feature direction. This position is instrumental in advancing the functionality, reliability, and usability of the Hubly product within the Docupace ecosystem. This role offers opportunities to grow into team leadership, staff-level architecture, or hybrid product/engineering roles based on interest.

Minimum Education, Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in software development, with experience in both frontend and backend.
  • Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
  • Experience with full product lifecycle involvement, from ideation to deployment.
  • Effective communicator who thrives in a remote, async team environment.
  • Proven ability to handle customer support cases and translate feedback into product improvements.
  • Experience using JavaScript, AWS

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Job responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy full-stack features using modern frameworks (React, Django, GraphQL, AWS).
  • Write efficient, maintainable, and testable code following best practices. Translate product and user feedback into functional software features.
  • Collaborate with product managers and fellow developers to scope and prioritize projects.
  • Participate in system architecture discussions and contribute to scalable solution design.
  • Support and troubleshoot customer reported issues with urgency and care.
  • Optimize workflows and engineering processes through automation and tooling.
  • Contribute to UI/UX planning and technical implementation to improve product usability.
  • Maintain ownership of key components and collaborate across functions.
