Senior Business Intelligence Consultant Microsoft

We are seeking a talented BI Power Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Power BI and related BI tools. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of data modeling, data integration, and visualization. This role will be instrumental in designing and implementing innovative BI solutions to meet diverse client needs across multiple industries.

• Develop, Design, and Deploy BI Solutions: Create and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models, ensuring they are optimized for performance and meet business requirements.
• Data Transformation and Integration: Use Power Query, DAX, and other tools to transform and model data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and clients to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Optimize and maintain existing Power BI reports and datasets, enhancing user experience and data processing efficiency.
• Client Training and Support: Provide training and support to clients on using Power BI reports and dashboards effectively, ensuring user empowerment.
• Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve data discrepancies or issues, ensuring data integrity and reliability.
• Documentation: Maintain documentation for developed solutions, including data flows, data models, and dashboards.
  
  

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in BI development, data analysis, and Power BI solution delivery.
• Expertise in Power BI: Strong proficiency with Power BI, Power Query, and DAX, along with a good understanding of data visualization best practices.
• Proficiency in Data Modeling: Experience with dimensional and relational data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
• SQL Proficiency: Skilled in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and analysis.
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and clients.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
• Client-Focused: Previous experience in a consulting or client-facing role is a plus, with the ability to manage client expectations and deliver high-quality solutions.
