Android Developer

Employerland, on behalf of a company operating in the financial services sector, is looking for an Android Developer for the Milan office.

As an Android Developer, your goal will be to develop new features and maintain the current codebase for the company's apps. You will contribute to product development by collaborating with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers.

You’ll become part of the Engineering team where you will contribute to building products and features.

Your mission:

• Craft innovative mobile experiences. Design and develop native Android applications that elevate user engagement and satisfaction.
• Collaborate across teams. Work closely with various departments to integrate and refine features, ensuring cohesive and comprehensive mobile solutions.
• Focus on user-centric development. Apply your technical expertise to solve user pain points and enhance the mobile experience through intuitive design and functionality.
• Drive continuous improvement. Play a vital role in the iterative development process, enhancing existing apps and creating new features to keep our offerings cutting-edge.
• Ensure excellence. Maintain high standards for coding, performance, and security, contributing to the reliability and efficiency of our Android applications.

Your ideal profile:

• Relevant education. Background in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
• Android development experience: Hands-on experience in Kotlin, Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle for app development. Familiarity with Kotlin Coroutines, flows, REST APIs, and web services.
• Technical skills. Knowledge of the MVI Design Pattern, app modularization, dependency injection (DI), and Jetpack Compose.
• Communication skills. Ability to communicate in a structured and convincing manner, adapting your style to build trust with stakeholders.
• Passion for innovation. Enthusiasm for FinTech or startup environments, eager to tackle new challenges and drive innovation.
• Language proficiency. Fluency in Italian and English.
