PHP-Developer (f/m/d)

Our company is looking for an experienced PHP Developer to join our development team and further develop our software solutions. If you have a passion for PHP development and experience with modern frameworks and technologies, then you've come to the right place!

Tasks

  • Develop and maintain robust, customer-facing PHP applications for our business-to-business platforms.
  • Analyze and optimize existing codebases to ensure high performance and scalability.
  • Implement new functions and features, contributing to our agile development framework with a focus on experimentation and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with our cross-functional development team, participating actively in code reviews and pair programming sessions.

Qualifications

  • A degree in (Business) Informatics or a comparable technical field, along with a strong understanding of programming concepts.
  • An independent, structured, and collaborative approach to your work.
  • Proven experience with modern PHP (including PHP 8.x and Object-Oriented Programming principles).
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies: JavaScript (Vue.js or general knowledge), HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience with databases, particularly MySQL, and good knowledge of SQL.
  • Strong command of Linux (Shell).
  • Experience with version control using Git.
  • Practical experience with at least one major PHP framework, such as Symfony, Slim, or Laravel.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Gitlab-CI and configuration management tools like Ansible is a plus.
  • Good German and English skills (at least B2 level).
