Junior Java Developer Role and Responsibilities:

This role will see the successful candidate join a team of Software Engineers who are working to help develop and maintain Java-based applications, support integration and testing efforts, and ensure documentation and incident resolution align with coding standards.

What you need:

• 3+ years hands-on experience with Java, Spring, and REST API development
• Familiarity with tools like OpenShift, Git, Jenkins, Jira, and SonarQube
• Database interaction experience with Oracle and PL/SQL
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and modern front-end technologies (e.g., Angular)
• Some client-facing experience, ideally across public/private sectors
• Strong theoretical knowledge with recent practical application
• Candidate MUST be based in Ireland and have a Stamp 1G/4 or EU Passport

What’s on offer:

• €300-€350 per day depending on experience
• Hybrid working
• Contract will run for up to 3-4 years
