Associate Product Designer

Hello there!

Our Design team at Ansarada is looking for a Product Designer to join our team. We’ve a great suite of products and we need your help to complete the Growth and Subscriptions triad. You will work alongside Product Management, Engineers and other Product Designers to deliver awesome outcomes for our customers. You will also collaborate closely with stakeholders at all levels across the business.

We need someone who is passionate about growing their craft and is keenly interested in the quantitative and qualitative aspects of product design. You are collaborative and enjoy working within the team while also iterating on your concepts and solutions. You understand and believe that design is a team sport and no one person is an island. You’re an advocate for the customer and can connect with the commercial aspects of product design.

How You’ll Make a Difference…

Designers at Ansarada work within a product triad. Designers are accountable for aligning business and technical requirements to the customer experience. Designers understand the complexities in the customer domain and deliver simple user-centred solutions. You'll make a difference through collaborative design with stakeholders and connecting with customers. You will work with senior leaders to connect your design solutions to strategy. You’ll own design projects from start to finish and ensure measurable outcomes. You will gain a deep understanding of how design fits within the business and how we apply our design systems for the most impact.

This role is based in Sydney with a hybrid work arrangement with the team in the office on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Tuesday and Thursdays are great for focus and getting stuff done.

What are the specifics?

You don’t need to tick all the boxes but feel you can in your first year!

• You’re confident designing complex customer interactions and have experience in visual, interaction, or information design.
• You understand the product lifecycle and how design impacts both the customer experience and business outcomes.
• You have experience in user-centred design and are comfortable gathering and balancing feedback to iterate and improve your work.
• You collaborate effectively with engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• You can advocate for design standards and contribute to evolving our design system and practices.
• You value ongoing learning, growth, and professional development.
• As an ISO27001-certified business, you’ll need to complete regular training and follow policies to keep sensitive information secure.
