Network Security Officer

We are seeking a skilled Network Security Officer to deliver high-quality Network Security Services—with a focus on Proxy management, DDoS mitigation, Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDPS), and Firewall Assurance.

Must-Have Requirements:

• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, DNS, NAT).
• Hands-on experience managing and auditing Firewall policies (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA).
• Proficient with Proxy solutions (e.g., Squid, Zscaler, Bluecoat) including SSL inspection and access control.
• Knowledge of DDoS mitigation strategies (e.g., rate-limiting, geo-blocking, cloud-based protections).
• Experience with IDPS tools (e.g., Snort, Suricata, Cisco Firepower) and alert tuning.
• Basic understanding of security best practices (e.g., least privilege, segmentation, compliance alignment).

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver end-to-end Firewall Assurance: policy reviews, rulebase optimization, and risk assessments.
• Deploy and maintain Proxy services with URL filtering, authentication, and usage controls.
• Implement DDoS protection mechanisms using cloud or hybrid strategies.
• Configure, monitor, and tune IDPS solutions for effective threat detection and response.
• Produce technical documentation, incident response guides, and assurance reports.
• Ensure all solutions align with frameworks such as NIST, CIS, or ISO 27001.
